Against the Wind and Against the Odds: Tikka & Tamar of HopefulPhoeniX are DIY-ing it all the way!

It all begins in the HopefulPhoeniX “Home Studio” where everything is recorded and produced: Tikka and Tamar’s joint efforts create the bedrock of musical repertoire that forms the HopefulPhoeniX song catalog. From there, Tamar creates the sultry licks and rockin’ beats that form the final masters; joining the very short list of female music producers in the industry. 

Then it’s into the HopefulPhoeniX “Sound stage” where the artists create and record their own music videos: Tikka & Tamar conceptualize, record and edit all independently; there’s no AI pushing buttons or splicing takes together here  – it’s all T & T, all the way!

Followed by posting the creations to where they need to be with HopefulPhoeniX’s foray into “Publishing” – T&T are distributing their original music arrangements via every music-sharing method available to them.  Got another to suggest? Please let them know!

Every little detail is organically sewn and weaved in the heart – from the hand-drawn logo and artwork Tamar lovingly created, to the band stickers Tikka designs and prints in her bedroom and the video sets Tamar builds and sleeps next to throughout the duration of the shooting process.

It’s no wonder then, with all of this creativity and musical magic brewing that Tikka & Tamar have created a new production company together ….“DateHope Productions”  – this home-grown company is focused on sharing and showcasing the wisdom, resourcefulness and innovation that only years in the music biz can bring! all DIY love and sheer tenacity.

Now HopefulPhoeniX is ready to enthral audiences world wide with their catchy blend of Alternative/Folk/Rock melodies. Look out for them performing at shows across the GTA.
