Tamar Geraci

is a musical artist

and composer who, from growing up off of Danforth Avenue in Toronto, developed a love for Canada and it’s diverse people. Tamar’s music reaches out from the core of Canada’s hardened cities and flows gracefully into the tranquility of Canada’s rugged north-lands. She composes memorable melodies and descriptive story telling through songs that inspire, challenge politics or taboos, and songs that you just have fun with.

The versatility and depth in Tamar’s music writing style can be best described as a fusion of techniques with influences from the iconic Folk rock, Acid Rock, and Classic rock era of the 1960’s and 70’s, blended with the innovative stylings of contemporary singer/songwriters and Rock and Roller’s.

During her career, Tamar performed on the Rogers television show “York Region Living” and was involved in the 2001 Cultura Art in Motion Production (the show was later given acknowledgment by the Honorable  Prime Minister Jean Chretien). Tamar has performed in Toronto’s Kensington Market district and established and hosted “open stage” shows throughout the Greater Toronto Area. She continues to perform and bond with Toronto’s diverse audiences with her genuine patriotic love of Canada and it’s cultural diversity.

An Honours Graduate from Harris Institute’s, Arts Management Program. Tamar began studying music at the age of twelve, fine art at fourteen and has since been an author having published poetry and short editorials for numerous community newspapers, magazines and E-publications.

Tamar is excited to be working on this new HopefulPhoeniX Band collaboration and their first Album release together.
